The company was formerly known as Alliance Bank JSC and changed its name to ForteBank Joint Stock Company in February 2015. ForteBank JSC is the tenth largest bank in terms of assets in Kazakhstan.

Bank primarily focuses on the retail market, SME and corporate customers lending offering loans, money transfer services, forex transactions, card product and acquiring, deposits, treasury transaction, leasing services, payment and vault services, short-term deposit funding, securities market brokerage, securities trading, funding services, currency control services, custody services, documentary credits etc.
